my best friend is not going to prom/spending the time with us till prom as she needs to rush back home, vietnam, cause her granny is terribly sick.

Im gna miss her y'know. Shes one of my closest friend i had in college and shes always there.

I feel like im not good enough for her, like i cant be there with her when something like this happens.

doing a quick update before i'll start on my to-do list.

I officially ended my last paper today, meaning i have completed my A'levels

i still remember this extremely long year i had, procrastinating non-stop for the 1st 3/4 of the yrs till i woke up to my horrid prelim results.

This month has been super taxing on my health, waking up early to revise and sleeping past bed time.

Now its thats its over, the weight on my chest has slowly being lifted off.

My family has been supporting me greatly this whole period, with my sis and even my dad giving me massages on my shoulders.

Not to mention my B, who endured all my snappy/emotional moments.

Thank you, amazing God, who seen me through this entire period.

hey... i dont rly wna pour everything out here but sometimes it seems like this is the only place where i dont have to care about anything or everything.

things between j and i have been bad for sometime now ( half a month) and we barely been talking and by talking it means just texting. no calling at all, except once after the gazillion times i called him and he didnt pick up. like ive tried so much y'know but it seems like i've hit deadend and theres no turning back or theres no way to solving this at all. i dont know why he've changed so much and barely tolerate me anymore and the only thing on his mind now is his friends. what should i do? everytime i bring it up he'll say im showing attitude/curt/sarcastic/ dont understand him but i dont know. its like hes a totally new person now and the guy i fell in love with 2 years ago disappeared. i told him i felt that we should break up cause this is going nowhere and it doesnt even matters to him but he'll just blame me for harbouring these thoughts thats why we kept quarreling. im tired y'know. relationship are suppose to be 2 ways but i feel like im doing everything to keep us together. im sick of disappointments and false hopes, really. and to make matters worse, both of us are taking major papers this year and quarreling doesnt do us good at all. i've been failing cause i cant concentrate cause i keep drifting on to this...

tell me. should i just let it all go?

Relationships come with a lot of tribulations. We fight, we yell, we get jealous, we cry, we feel pain, we hurt, we scream, we get frustrated, we get angry, we get upset, we break up and our emotions take us over. So why do we do it? Why would we want to feel not just sad, but truly hurt, sad to the point where your whole body hurts just because of one person, sad to the point where you feel empty when everything falls apart, sad to the point where your heart aches for the company of that being. I’ll tell you why I do it, its because besides all those moments when your stupidity gets in the way of what your truly feeling and you “fight”, the moments when you are truly loving someone are the most touching, astounding, magnificent moments you will ever experience. When two people are just loving each other its magical. And to those of you who are to scared of getting hurt and too scared of the baggage that comes with relationships, let me tell you this, having someone you love and having them love you back is a feeling that you can not substitute. Having someone look at you with such a deep emotion is remarkable. Having someone touch with so much care brings a feeling of weightlessness throughout your whole body. Having someone whisper they love you feels like they screamed it. Having someone to hold your hand at all times just feels special. Having someone to be your best friend and be loyal to you and never lie to you feels so safe. So yeah, relationships suck, breaking up hurts, but having that someone that you feel so comfortable with, someone that you let inside your soul, someone that lets you inside theirs, someone to talk to at all hours during the day, someone to laugh with, someone to fall asleep with, having someone that is your other half for whatever amount of time you are together, is true beauty and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I’ve have been beaten, broken, and pushed down by life and obstacles my entire life. None of that fazes me anymore. It’s just another part of my life that I’d feel weird without. But I do hurt. I do know what it feels like to feel pain and feel like the most lost of causes. It’s the most delicate killer there is out there; love. I have let myself fall hard too many times and I am not going to lie to you, I am not stronger because of it. No way in hell. If anyone says they are a stronger person after getting their heart ripped out is lying to you. It’s the biggest lie there is out there next to “I’m fine”. I am much weaker because of these heartbreaks. Another thing is that I can honestly say I’m still not over them either. Sure, I’ve moved on. But it only takes one thing to bring me back to hurting again. Do you know what I’m talking about? That small trigger that takes you back to a certain memory or feeling? Like a song, a note, a place, a gift, anything that would make those old feelings resurface. Memories of happiness and laughter. Where did they go? When did this happen? Looking back I can see where the happiness left, but at the time I couldn’t. Love, what a wicked word. It makes you do the dumbest things but yet, I can honestly say I regret nothing. I don’t know what love is, I’m only sixteen. But my perception of love changes daily. One day, it’s hope; pretty colors and happy songs in the spring time while holding hands in the car and laughing. The next it’s a monster; coldness and dark skies in pure daylight while riding in silence with tension filling the car. So what can we do; run from love forever and live the rest of your life alone or just accept the consequences and prepare for the worst? I don’t know. I normally run from love, it terrifies me. Granted, I do tell friends and family I love them, but that’s different. I’m talking about that completely raw and vulnerable love; standing naked in front of a crowd with your flaws written next to you on a card on display for the entire world to see. That whole hearts racing, pulse fast, sweaty palms kind of love. The one thing I will say I am proud about with my past encounters with relationships is that I don’t have any regrets. Those dumb, love fueled actions and sayings just make me laugh when I look back on them. Little cheek bites, being called “baby” “princess” or “kiddo”, stupid inside jokes, piggy back rides through the park, and sneaking out to see each other, all of those things are things that will stay with you the rest of your life. But what’s funny about these little “things” you had is, you can’t bring them with you to the next relationship. They are unique to that person. It’s what makes you miss them. Its societies fault for ruining love for this generation; they set our standards way too high. All of the love songs and chick flicks make us want the “Prince Charming”. Here’s the secret, the people you do end up falling for are much better than any writer could create because they are real, this is reality. That’s what makes it great; you get to live through the good times instead of watching or hearing about it. As I said before though, my view on love isn’t always so optimistic, but for now I’d say to go for it. I’m glad that when I’m older I will be able to look back on these and regret nothing; I’d relive all of them if I could. Relationships are like being the main character in your favorite movie every day, but all movies don’t end the same. Some you will ride off into the sunset with your Prince, others you find yourself building up those walls again just for someone else to come and knock back down.
